About Technology Transfer Program
Since 1984, T2 has also proudly served as Kentucky’s Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) designated Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) Center. The FHWA LTAP program is a national initiative that supports local governments in building and maintaining modern, safe, and eff icient transportation systems. By collaborating with LTAP centers in every state, we are able to provide cost-eff ective, innovative solutions to help cities and counties across Kentucky improve and maintain their roads and bridges.
Annually, T2 delivers over 400 training events to over 8,000 local, state and industry participants. We also provide informational resources through newsletters and technical manuals to highlight new and existing technologies as well as legislative and regulatory updates. Through these initiatives, T2 plays a crucial role in promoting safe and eff icient transportation across Kentucky.
