Safety is top priority in Kentucky, and by narrowing the focus on driver education to individual groups, it is possible to customize information and techniques to better suit specific problems and situations you might encounter while on the road.
The increase in crashes involving 15-passenger vans has received national attention. Drivers of these vans are not required to have commercial driver's licenses so it is important to strengthen their skills, thereby allowing them to provide a greater degree of safety for themselves, their passengers, and the public.
Through this low-cost, internet-based training program, you will learn common problems encountered when driving 15-passenger vans, and solutions to help avoid or deal with each situation.
This program is a cooperative effort of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and the Kentucky Finance Cabinet.
