Roadside Barrier Installation & Inspection Course

The purpose of the Roadside Barrier Installation and Inspection course for Construction is to provide construction staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively inspect installation or roadside hardware in compliance with KYTC (Kentucky Transportation Cabinet) standards. This course is divided into two main parts: the first portion focuses on design considerations, hardware testing standards, and methods, while the second portion emphasizes the correct installation of KYTC-approved devices. The course aims to enhance participants' understanding of the significance of proper installation to ensure optimal performance of roadside hardware. This course runs from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm EST. Lunch and materials will be provided.

Each District is allowed 15-20 spots for their designated date.
