Sign and Post Installation

For the purposes of this training, participants will learn how to read a plan and know the details and proper placement of signs and sign supports. Spacing accuracy and sign height will be discussed. Participants will review plans and demonstrate their knowledge and understanding. Good and bad pictures will be shared and discussed to further enhance participant understanding. The course will describe sign types, sign materials and sign supports; sign installation and sign management, including inventory, inspection, preventive maintenance, repair and replacement, and recordkeeping. Training will consist of classroom-style training with hands-on activities. There will also be demonstrations on proper placement and inspection and examples of each.
