Understanding the Basics of Law Enforcement Presence in Work Zones

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Division of Construction, has requested the Kentucky Transportation Center, Technology Transfer Program to deliver the Understanding the Basics of Law Enforcement Presence in Work Zones training course. The purpose of this training is to provide basic work zone understanding, to avoid crashes in and around work zones, and to improve the safety of the workers and the traveling public.

This two-hour course will be offered online through Canvas, a learning management system, and individuals can take the course at any time. The training will include a combination of learning through presentation, course activities, and knowledge check questions. This training will need to be renewed every two years.
